Lafayette Soirée

HBF’s annual Lafayette Soiree, held each spring since the 1980s, commemorates the Marquis de Lafayette’s 1825 visit to Beaufort and serves as the foundation’s primary fundraiser. This elegant evening garden party takes place at a different historic property each year and features Lowcountry cuisine, curated cocktails, live music, and a silent auction, Proceeds support HBF’s preservation efforts, including the ongoing restoration of the John Mark Verdier House and revitalization projects in Beaufort’s historic neighborhoods.
