CELEBRATE CONTEMPORARY LOWCOUNTRY ARCHITECTURE
Architects Tour
The Spring Architect’s Tour celebrates contemporary Lowcountry architecture by showcasing newly completed or under-construction homes designed by some of Beaufort’s most accomplished architects. This self-guided tour features properties ranging from traditional to modern cottage styles, including new construction, older homes with sympathetic modern additions or renovations, and adaptive reuse projects that clearly distinguish original elements from new interventions. Architect, builders, and interior designers are on-site at each home to discuss design elements, answer questions, and provide homeowners with ideas and inspiration on how classic Lowcountry principles can be adapted for contemporary living while honoring Beaufort’s architectural legacy.

TOUR PRIVATE HISTORIC HOMES
Fall Festival of Homes & Gardens
Now in it’s 51 year, the Fall Festival of Homes & Gardens offers a rare opportunity to tour private historic homes, gardens, and estates not normally open to the public. The self-guided Saturday tour showcases three centuries of Beaufort’s architectural heritage, from 18 century homes along The Bluff to mid-century properties, attracting visitors from across the country. On Sunday, the weekend tour concludes with an elegant brunch with a guest speaker and a guided tour hosted at a featured historic home, providing guests an intimate opportunity to enjoy Lowcountry hospitality while supporting HBF’s preservation mission.
